To me, without goals there is no drive or force to keep me going. Having goals keeps me persistent in school, as well as, life in general. After all, I have my mountain to climb. Here are the educational, personal, and professional goals that I have set for myself thus far.
Short Term Goals
The educational goals that I would like to obtain within the next 2 years are:

Complete an Art Appreciation class to gain more knowledge about the world of art before I graduate from SPCC after the Fall of 2017.

Graduate with my Associate in Arts Degree by the Fall of 2017 at SPCC.

Graduate with my Bachelor's Degree by the year 2020.
A few personal goals that I hope to obtain within the next year include:

The goal that I am constantly working towards every day, is to complete my first two months at 9Round. It is a workout gym based on boxing and it one of the most challenging, but rewarding things I have done. It can be difficult balancing that with school, but I always make it a goal to go 3 times a week.

I have two wonderful dogs, and recently I have learned that much of the dog food out there is not good for them. Therefore, my goal is to gain more knowledge about what dogs should be eating and start making their food homemade.

Another goal of mine is to start volunteering some of time to animal shelters by the summer of 2018. I have always had a love for animals, especially since I have two dogs. Therefore, I want to volunteer to help out other animals and in hope to gain more knowledge about animals.

My last personal goal is to continue to strive to be a better person each and every day by taking every opportunity I have to to be kind towards others. I strongly believe that there is always room for improvement. Therefore, each day my goal is to continue to be a better a person, towards myself as well as others.
Long Term Professional Goals
A few professional goals that I hope to obtain within the next 5 years are:

Graduate with my Bachelor's Degree by the year 2020.

Decide what job field I want to go into by Spring 2018 by starting to explore different degrees online to see what I am interested in.

Find a job/internship to gain experience in the work field by 2019
